As a stay-at-home mom of three wanting to improve our lives and increase my knowledge, I decided it was time to challenge myself and return to the classroom as a nontraditional student at the young age of 32. I enrolled at UW-Marathon County part-time in a 6 credit science course. Dr. Montgomery took me under his wing and from there I knew I had made the right decision. I've since gone on to earn my master's in educational technology. After graduation, I taught for 10 years, and now I am in a sales position. Our UW educational system is important in improving the lives of everyone.
